Hello all!

We’re just writing to a share a little of what we’re up to. We’ve been cookin’ up a bunch lately, so where do I start…

New Bass Player

Well, we have a new bass player, Aj Harper! We started jammin’ with Aj a couple weeks ago after he responded to an ad we posted on Craigslist. On the first day, he learned nearly a dozen tracks and we worked out a new one… Kick Ass!

It’s nice to be working with someone who not only has the skills to keep up with whatever we throw at him, but also brings enthusiasm to a jam. Music is all about having fun while honing your craft. It’s both joy in creative expression, and masterful artistry. It’s a real pleasure to play with people who have a great time while working hard together to always try to create that masterpiece.

Tour

Next on the list is our coming tour! We’ve set the itinerary for 16 dates in Ontario and Quebec for late October and early November, 2010. We’ve already confirmed two dates, and are now booking the rest. Here’s our plan:

If there’s a particular venue you’d like us to play at in any of these cities, let us know! We’d also love to give away some free merch and music to anyone who’d help us promote these shows and get a lot of friends out. Contact us here!

We’ll be updating our shows list with ticket info, maps, time, etc. after we straighten out all the info for a few more shows.

Band Pics

Well, we did a photo shoot about a month ago, and have a slew of great shots from it. Unfortunately, AJ wasn’t in any of them! We’ll still be using many of them, as there really are some great shots, but to include AJ, we’ve scheduled another photo shoot for tonight. So, expect some new pics to be posted soon!

New Tunes!

We’ve been writing a lot lately, and we’ve got a few good new tunes to share! The recording process is going wonderfully, and we’ll be giving away a new tune to every newsletter subscriber by the end of the week. Sign up by filling out the form here to get a copy.

We’re also finishing up our two EPs now – “Unplugged & Unemployed” and “Pogey Paid For My Amp”. The first is an acoustic EP, with the second containing electric versions of some of the same songs as well as some other tunes. The EPs will be sold in CD form during our fall Ontario tour, and later online for digital download.

During the tour we’ll also be selling and giving away t-shirts, stickers and other cool stuff. We hope to see you out and to get a chance to enjoy some tunes with you!
